Alfonso Cocktail is cocktail number six on the Swank Cocktail Guide.
Named after King Alfonso XII, King of Spain from 1886 to 1931, the Alfonso Cocktail is a Champagne cocktail with herbal notes.

Interestingly, the first article found from 1929 states the cocktail contained Sherry, Curaçao, and an orange peel. The recipe in the latter article from 1952 matches the Swank Cocktail Guide version.
