My parents drank Scotch every evening – my Dad, a Scotch and soda, and my Mom, a Scotch and water. Despite decades of their coaching, neither of us ever developed an affinity for whisky. The bitters, sugar, and fruit helped a bit, but not enough for us to go beyond 🍸🍸. Life’s too short to drink what you don’t like.
