Washington, Sept 25, 1855
Congregation met pursuant to notice, on motion Wm Lawrence was called to the chair-
A. Patterson elected Secretary pro tem
On Motion of Mr. Caldwell That a Committee be appointed to reappraise the pews –
The President, Secretary & T. Laughlin said committee [?] motion was adopted a motion was carried to R cont sides the above
The above Motion was then withdrawn.
On Motion that Members now proceed to select percent as an advance of 20 per cent –

A Motion was made and carried to negotiate with M. Giban Blaton [?] to the purchase of 3 acres of ground & report the same

April 5th 1858
Congregation pursuant to notice to take into consideration the propriety of building a new Church edifice
The meeting was organised by calling the Rev Mahafy to the chair
The following resolution was then offered and unanimously adopted viz
Resolved that this cong build a new church edifice and that the preparitory steps be taken immediately
It was moved to fix on the old site for said building which was lost
The com appointed at a former meeting reported in favor of the lot owned by P B Ankeny esq, which was received and on motion the report was adopted
On motion Mr A G Lawrence was aded to the above com which now consists of Messrs McCurdy A Sproat T Laughlin John Robinson F Rea A G Laurence
On motion adjourned

Congregation met pursuant to notice on motion the following persons were elected Trustees for the congregation viz John McCurdy T. W Laughlin John Robinson A. G. Laurence and Frances Rea to serve for one year or until their successors are elected

Congregation met pursuant to call Mr McCurdy in the chair
On motion the Trustees were directed to make a quit claim deed to Wm Morrow for one acre of land originally belonging to this church and known as part of the old grave yard

Congregation met pursuant to call
On motion Mr Kirkpatrick was called to the chair
Mr. Alexander moved that the old Church property be transfered to the Trustees of Miller acadamy to be used for the purpose of the acadamy, and that the Deacons be directed to make a deed for the same,
The question being taken the above motion was lost
On motion the meeting adjourned
