Jessie F. Holdridge was born on 15 April, about 1865, in Lanesboro, Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania to Harvey Holdridge and Fannie Sophia Hull Holdridge.1 With the exception of a few years living in Boston, Jessie grew up in nearby, Oakland, along with her parents and older sister, Hattie.2

On 10 July 1897, Jessie and Charles S. Proctor were married at the M. E. Church parsonage in Susquehanna.3

Jessie and Charles resided with Jessie’s father, Harvey, a widower, in Oakland in 1900.4 By 1910, Jessie was living with her father in Oakland.5 Jessie and Charles divorced and no known children were born to the couple.6

Jessie F. Holdridge Proctor died on 6 Feb 1946 in Oakland, Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania.7 Jessie is buried in Grand Street Cemetery in Susquehanna Depot and shares a headstone with her grandmother, Lydia Chase Hull.8
