Millard Filmore Faulkner purchased Rowe Drug Company in Rolla, Missouri from his father-in-law in 1891. The first of Faulkner’s Drug Store’s use of The Rexall Store found was in 1911. The Faulkner Drug Store was in business until Dr. E. E. Fiend and Dwight Hafeli purchased the drug store in 1949 and renamed the business Hafeli Drug Company.



Millard Filmore Faulkner
Millard Filmore Faulkner was born 19 August 1861 in Springfield, Missouri to Robert P. Faulkner and Margaret Ella Guy.1

Millard married Nannie M. Rowe, the daughter of Samuel B. and Mary Rowe, on 9 June 1887 in Phelps County, Missouri.2 Millard soon began working for his father-in-law at Rowe’s Drug Store and in September 1891 purchased the establishment.3



Millard Filmore Faulkner died on 7 March 1923 and is buried in Rolla Cemetery in Rolla, Phelps County, Missouri.4

Rev. Robert P. Faulkner
Robert P. Faulkner was born on 9 September 1823 in Tennessee.5 Robert married first to Mary A. Hunter on 16 July 1846 in Davidson County, Tennessee.6 Robert married second to Margaret E. Guy on 1 October 1854 in Greene County, Missouri.7
Margaret Ella Guy Faulkner died on 28 February 1871 in Rolla, Phelps County, Missouri, and is believed to be buried in Rolla Cemetery.8 Robert P. Faulkner died on 31 December 1872 and is also buried in Rolla Cemetery.9
