Iwan and Eva Carlson Photograph, 26 December 1905; privately held by the Faulkner–Hull Collection, Massachusetts

A photo of Iwan and Eva Carlson was purchased in Plymouth, Massachusetts in December 2022. The back of the photograph reads: Den. 26 Dec. 1905 / Iwan Carlson / Eva Carlson. As the Carlsons appear to have been originally from Sweden, it is possible “Den” is an abbreviation for Denmark.
